Samos windsurf center is a friendly relaxed and fun place to enjoy your holiday. The center offers new equipment every year, wing foils and windsurfing foils, in addition to a range of wetsuits, harnesses, shoes and gloves to ensure you are fully-equipped. We are open between April and October every day from 09.30 until it becomes dark to ensure you make the most of your time in the water! We operate a ‘pool system’ which means you are welcome to try any of our equipment at any time.
Stand-up-paddle boards have become a popular alternative to windsurfing when the winds are too light to sail. Find your balance and away you go up the coast to explore all the little beaches Kokkari has to offer. We have several S.U.P boards available for hire and also an excellent range of beginner boards that are also useful as paddle boards when required which work equally as well.
During the gentle morning winds you can enjoy a journey up the coast on one of our 2 person open canoes which are extremely stable to ensure a relaxing ride for friends or families with younger children. Upwind of the station there are several lovely beaches to explore before allowing the wind to bring you back to the station.
We are a relaxed, fun-oriented centre and like to provide our guests with the facilities to enjoy themselves equally as much off the water. We have several pairs of beach-tennis racquets available free of charge. A great way to relax in the sun and meet new friends.
Our center is very family-orientated and our playground is a big hit with the kids! Packed full of toys in addition to swings, slides, children’s house, trampoline and a see-saw, the activity area of the center ensures the kids enjoy themselves as much as their windsurfing parents! If you look closely you’ll even find a tree-house that was built by Rob and his friend in Summer 2010. Older kids from 10 years old upwards can also enjoy their own windsurfing experience with our instructor Fabio who runs the kid’s windsurfing courses.
We have 16 TREK and GIANT bikes to choose from. All are fully-serviced on a regular basis and ideal for both on-road or off-road riding. Kokkari is a mountainous resort with plenty of exploration to enjoy. All our bikes come with locks and puncture kits so you can be assured of a stress-free cycle! Ask us for route recommendations to get the most of your bike rides.

One of the least expensive ways to have fun in Kokkari is to rent some snorkel gear and go get wet! Almost anywhere you go, there is great snorkeling within minutes of where you are. The best part is, that almost anyone of any age can enjoy snorkeling in our beautiful crystal clear waters!
As of Summer 2011 we have a brand new table-tennis facility which is great way to pass the time during the light morning breezes. There is always someone ready for a challenge and this facility is offered free of charge to all our guests.
Every Friday night we hold a beach BBQ at the center after the day’s windsurfing which is always a popular night. A fantastic way to meet like-minded people, talk about windsurfing and enjoy the local wine and meats that Samos has to offer. Our resident puppy ‘Lucky’ is happy to gobble any steaks or sausages that guests can not manage!
